Course Summary
The Level 3 Qualification in Sports Leadership is a nationally recognised qualification that enables successful learners to independently lead purposeful and enjoyable sport/physical activity. The qualification aligns with professional standards for sport and physical activity leadership, especially through the focus on leading inclusive sessions to participants.
- You do not have to have completed Level 1 or Level 2 to do the course.
- You will be leading lessons and sporting events and therefore need to be confident to speak to large groups.
- You will also be working with younger children and therefore we expect you to demonstrate excellent behaviour and to be a good role model.
- You will need to demonstrate 12 hours of leadership in different environments over the course, therefore it is ideal if you volunteer your time at after school clubs or are able to volunteer your leadership at a local club to you.
