Application Instructions
Students should submit applications by 19 December 2025.
Applications will remain open throughout the year and late applications will be considered; however, students should be aware that they may not receive their preferred choices if a late application is received.
Once applications have been received, all applicants will be invited for an interview to discuss their application and ensure that their subject choices are suitable.

Course Summary
This course offers a comprehensive exploration of psychological concepts, theories, and research methods and offers an engaging and effective introduction to Psychology. It covers core areas such as:
Cognitive Psychology: Understanding how we think and perceive the world.
Social Psychology: Exploring how we are influenced by others.
Developmental Psychology: Examining how we develop over our lifespan.
Biological Psychology: Investigating the biological underpinnings of behaviour.

How will it be delivered and assessed?
The course is assessed through three separate 2 hour exams.
Each paper is worth 33.3% of the A Level
Entry requirements
5 GCSEs at grade 5 or above, and for this specific subject;
a grade 5 in GCSE English, Maths and Science.
