Students should submit applications by 19 December 2025.

Applications will remain open throughout the year and late applications will be considered; however, students should be aware that they may not receive their preferred choices if a late application is received.

Once applications have been received, all applicants will be invited for an interview to discuss their application and ensure that their subject choices are suitable.

Course Summary

This course helps students to understand the responsibilities of the accountant and the impacts of their recommendations on the business and the wider environment. Students will build knowledge and understanding of key concepts, principles and techniques that they can apply to real-life scenarios, developing the ability to solve problems logically, analyse data methodically, make reasoned choices and communicate effectively.

How will it be delivered and assessed?

Assessment for this course is 100% exam based, with a mixture of question types including multiple choice, short answer and scenario based questions.

Paper 1 - 3 hour written exam (50% of A Level)

Paper 2 - 3 hour written exam (50% of A Level)

Entry requirements

5 GCSEs at grade 5 or above, and for this specific subject;

a grade 6 in GCSE Maths.
