Performing & Production Arts - Level 2 UAL

The level 2 Diploma in Performing and Production Arts is designed to provide students with the knowledge, skills and understanding necessary to access and progress to the Level 3 study programme or employment in the Performing Arts industry. Over the year, students will collaborate to create the professional company "JOT Ensemble" and will work to create performances to a professional standard. Standing for Jack of Trade, the students time with the company will expose them to a range of techniques and skills that are multi-disciplinary in their approach.

We want you to achieve to the very best of your ability at CRC. To make this happen we offer both learning and personal support by specialist staff tailored to meet your specific needs.
There is regular one to one tutorial provision.

You will need 3 GCSEs at grade 3 (D) or above.

• You may like to take the opportunity to demonstrate your performance or production skills in the welcome event. In addition to the entry qualifications listed, the offer of a place on the course is subject to the outcomes of initial assessment, which will be taken at the College as part of the admissions process. Please note that entry criteria may vary quite significantly between courses at the same level. This is to take account of the specific skills needed for success on particular courses, the length of the course and the requirements for progression to the next level. Entry criteria are given as a guide, and the exact requirements in order to obtain a place on a particular course will be confirmed following attendance at a Welcome Event/Interview.

This qualification helps you to progress on to UAL Level 3 Diploma/Extended Diploma performing and Production Arts study programmes. Students may also aspire to the following options:
- Apprenticeships with the wider commercial creative based industry with support through Cambridge Regional College.

- Employment, for example, performance related work as a freelancer or through relevant agencies.
