Beauty Therapy - Level 3

Wanting to advance within the beauty and spa industry?

This level 3 qualification will give you the skills and knowledge you need to progress into the beauty industry. The course also covers aspects of anatomy and physiology and retail as well as a full range of advanced treatments

You will learn a range of advanced treatments widely used in spas and salons which will vastly increase your employability in industry

The treatments we cover –
• Electrical facial treatments
• Electrical body treatments
• Body massage to include, traditional, hands free and using pre-blended aromatherapy oils
• Dry spa treatments
• Electrical epilation

We want you to achieve to the very best of your ability at CRC. To make this happen we offer both learning and personal support by specialist staff tailored to meet your specific needs.

Entry will depend on completion of a level 2 qualification in beauty and a successful progression interview for internal candidates. External candidates will be interviewed at one of our scheduled Welcome Events. A grade 3 is science is also preferable, though not essential.

Individuals will be considered on their suitability, references showing good attendance and behaviour and a genuine interest in the industry.

In addition to the entry qualifications listed, the offer of a place on the course is subject to the outcomes of initial assessment, which will be taken at the College as part of the admissions process. Please note that entry criteria may vary quite significantly between courses at the same level. This is to take account of the specific skills needed for success on particular courses, the length of the course and the requirements for progression to the next level. Entry criteria are given as a guide, and the exact requirements in order to obtain a place on a particular course will be confirmed following attendance at a Welcome Event/Interview. The Level 3 qualification will lead into industry employment and opens up a wide range of opportunities to further advance your skills and specialise in advanced areas such as aesthetics or sports massage. Many students will also add to their skills set and continue to study on short courses such as lash extensions, nail extensions or other massage techniques such as stone or lava shell.

Other career opportunities include: product developer, product or treatment rep, trainer and assessor, cruise ship or airline therapist. There are so many options open to you.
