Vehicle Body and Paint Operations - Level 3 (Diploma)

If you have completed a level 2 qualification in vehicle body and paint operations and are seeking employment in the automotive bodywork industry, this course is for you.

The course will cover:

• Preparing plastic vehicle components
• Plastic welding and repairing
• Carrying out various body repairs
• Filling
• Spraying
• Dismantling techniques
• Maintenance of spray booths
• Colour theory both in practical and at theory level

Assessment will be via both practical and theory-based studies.

You will need to:

• Have studied Vehicle Body and Paint Operations - Level 2, with good attendance and progress reviews studied at CWA or another further education provider. This does not include level 2 courses studied at school alongside GCSEs

If you are aged 19 or older, relevant industry experience may be accepted.
