Course Summary
Our new study programme is designed to help you strengthen your English and maths skills. It's ideal if you want to focus on these essential subjects before progressing to the next level of your chosen vocational route or if you simply want to prioritise English and maths over a vocational course.
Course Details
During the course, you'll complete up to nine hours in English and Maths a week, working towards achieving your functional skills or GCSE qualifications, alongside supervised study and tutorials. You will also work on employability skills and gain an understanding of workplace sustainability.Tutorials are closely monitored so that you will be fully supported to stay on track and meet your goals and progress further.
Where timetables allow, we also hope to offer practical vocational taster sessions linked to your intended progression route, giving you valuable experience and helping you prepare for your next step.
How will it be delivered and assessed?
You will complete exams for both English and maths qualifications.
Entry requirements
You will need:
A grade 3 or below in English and maths
To complete an initial assessment to help determine what level you're working towards
