Course Summary

If you want to progress in the construction industry as a plumber, this course is for you. The course offers introductory skills in a range of construction trades which include Bricklaying, Carpentry & Joinery and Plumbing.

Course Details

In the summer term you will then specialise in plumbing and develop skills and knowledge which will enable you to progress in this specialist trade.

How will it be delivered and assessed?

Progress and achievement is recorded throughout the year via practical assessments.

Entry requirements

Whilst there are no general grade entry requirements for our level 1 programmes, you will be expected to show:

  • A good attitude towards learning and a willingness
    to progress, including in English and Maths (if
    applicable)
  • A keen interest in the subject and a commitment to
    working hard

We will invite you to attend an information session and applicant experience day (if you have been offered a place before May) before you start your course to help ensure that this is the best course for you.
