Course Summary
If you want to develop your skills and knowledge in creative hair work, advanced cutting, colouring, styling and promotional activities, and you've already completed a full level 2 in hairdressing, this course is for you.
Course Details
Course content includes:
- Cut hair using a combination of techniques
- Creatively colour and lighten hair
- Hairdressing consultation services
- Creatively style and dress hair
- Hair colour correction services
How will it be delivered and assessed?
There is a continuous assessment process that includes assignments, exams, and practical and oral appraisals throughout the year.
Entry requirements
You will need to:
- A full level 2 diploma in Hairdressing at Merit or Distinction standard studied at CWA or another further education provider.
- Relevant work experience in the industry if the Level 2 diploma was achieved more than 2 years before the application date
- GCSE English and maths at grade 4 or higher
