Course Summary

If you want to develop your skills and knowledge in creative hair work, advanced cutting, colouring, styling and promotional activities, and you've already completed a full level 2 in hairdressing, this course is for you.

Course Details

Course content includes:

  • Cut hair using a combination of techniques
  • Creatively colour and lighten hair
  • Hairdressing consultation services
  • Creatively style and dress hair
  • Hair colour correction services

How will it be delivered and assessed?

There is a process of continual assessment to include assignments, exams, practical and oral assessment with a summative assessment for theory and practical at the end of the year.

Entry requirements

You will need:

  • A full level 2 diploma in Hairdressing at Merit or Distinction standard studied at CWA or another further education provider.
  • Relevant work experience in the industry if the Level 2 diploma was achieved more than 2 years before the application date
  • GCSE English and maths at grade 4 or higher
