Course Summary
This qualification is for students who wish to work as an electrician in the building services industry. It has been designed to deliver a high level of occupational skills and provide a platform from which to progress into an apprenticeship programme or into employment.
Course Details
The qualification will help you gain an understanding of the skills required within the electro-technical sector.
You will cover compulsory aspects such as:
- Scientific Principles
- Installation of wiring systems and enclosures
- Electrical Installations Technology
How will it be delivered and assessed?
The course is internally assessed through observation/practical/written assessment techniques.
Entry requirements
You will need:
- GCSE maths at grade 4 or above
- 3 other GCSEs at grade 3 or above to include English
