Course Summary
The Chemistry curriculum is exciting as outcomes could lead us to discovering new drugs, creative in the possibility of inventing new compounds or new uses for existing ones. It is challenging, using problem solving skills to solve hunger, disease and pollution.
Course Details
Chemistry students will use their skills to plan and undertake synthetic and analytical chemistry experiments and develop problem solving skills by analysing and making conclusions from data. Students will work together to complete tasks designed to stretch and challenge their understanding of chemistry from the foundations for the periodic table and energy to organic and physical chemistry modules.
Entry requirements
5 grade 6s at GCSE including 6s in English and Maths;
Grades 7-7 in GCSE Combined Science or Grade 7 in GCSE Chemistry.
