Course Summary
The study of life itself. Biology explores the theories and principals involved in living systems, in all their intricate beauty. A subject you can submerge yourself in and physically explore the biology of the world around you from workshops; day trips; guest lectures; residential trips; links to research, industry, and history of biology in the local area.
Course Details
You will be studying everything from the basic biological molecules of organisms to species interactions within ecosystems. You will have the opportunity to walk in the footsteps of Cambridge s famous scientists to discover more about life on Earth and what the future may have in store. Alongside the knowledge gained you will also expand your understanding of how society makes decisions about scientific ethical and moral issues, as well as some of the ways in which the scientific community contributes to the success of the economy and society.
Entry requirements
5 grade 6s at GCSE including 6s in English and Maths;
Grades 7-7 in GCSE Combined Science or Grade 7 in GCSE Biology.
