This course is designed for students who are interested in a career in Brickwork.
Course Details
Course content includes a range of training projects based on bricklaying skills, including:
- Safe working practices
- Information, quantities and communication
- Methods of construction
- Setting out
- Thin joint masonry and masonry cladding
- Solid walling
- Cavity walling
How will it be delivered and assessed?
Progress and achievement is recorded throughout the year through practical and theory assessments, portfolio and external tests.
Entry requirements
You will need:
*4 GCSEs at 3 or above including English and maths
You will be invited to an information session to help ensure the course is right for you.
