Course Summary
If you have studied Beauty Therapy - Level 2, this is the next stage of your journey to becoming a qualified beauty therapist.
Course Details
All relevant aspects of beauty therapy are studied, including:
- Anatomy and physiology
- Working in beauty
- Health and Safety
- Client Care and communication
- Promote and sell products
- Body massage
- electrical facial and body treatments
- Hot stone massage
- Indian head massage
How will it be delivered and assessed?
There is a process of continual formative assessment including:
Assignments
Exams
Practical and oral assessment with a summative assessment for theory and practical at the end of the year
Entry requirements
You will need:
- A full level 2 diploma in Beauty Therapy at Merit or Distinction standard studied at CWA or another further education provider.
- Relevant work experience in the industry if the Level 2 diploma was achieved more than 2 years before the application date
- GCSE English and maths at grade 4 or higher
