Our scholarships are designed to Empower The Future Of Sport

The YDP Scholarship Programme was created to offer a unique post-16 option to students who wanted to not only further their footballing ability but also gain qualifications in higher education.

Since it’s birth the programme has encompassed all that YDP stands for, including working with children from all types of backgrounds , offering multiple pathways post-programme and creating an enjoyable yet challenging environment.

So many have come away from the programme and either go on to university, employment, coaching with YDP and many more. This all being through choosing our course and gaining valuable life skills to last forever.

5 GCSE's at grade 4 or above including a merit in Sports Studies and chosen Sports Leaders and Sports Studies as a Post-16 option. As part of this program students should only choose Sports Studies, Business Studies and Sport Leaders alongside the scholarship.
