The course is ideal for students who enjoy being creative but may not yet be ready to progress directly onto a Level 3 programme. It provides an opportunity to develop practical skills, improve confidence and prepare for further study, employment or an apprenticeship.

Students will be encouraged to explore their own creative interests and gradually develop a clearer understanding of the areas they may want to specialise in.

Tutors will provide regular feedback and support to help students improve their work, develop their confidence and prepare for progression onto a Level 3 programme or another suitable next step. The course is delivered through practical workshops, creative projects, demonstrations, group activities, individual tasks and industry-inspired briefs.
