Course Summary
If you are interested in improving your linguistic skills and developing a greater understanding of how French speaking society has been shaped socially and culturally, and how it continues to change, then A-Level French is for you.
Course Details
French fosters a range of transferable skills including communication, critical thinking, research skills and creativity. You will study a range of contemporary social issues, including technological change and the diversity and the benefits it brings. You will also be looking at French speaking artistic culture, including music, cinema and political power, and its impact on youth culture. There will be opportunities to take part in trips abroad and experience university lectures.
How will it be delivered and assessed?
100% Exam. The course is comprised of two written papers as well as a speaking exam based on individual research project of your choice.
