Details
Compulsory topics include:
- Animal Health and Welfare
- Animal Behaviour and Handling
- Maintain Animal Accommodation
- Practical Animal Feeding
- Work Related Experience
- Animal Breeds and Grooming
Learners will be in college for 3 days a week and there will also be a period of external work placement hours that all learners will complete (150 hours in total)

Entry requirements
You will need:
- 4 or more GCSEs at Grade 3 (D) or higher, with at least one Grade 4 in either English, Maths or Science
Or:
- A relevant Level 1 qualification
