Overview

If you want to progress into the construction industry as a carpenter/joiner, this course is for you.

Details

The course offers introductory skills in a range of construction trades which include bricklaying, carpentry & joinery and plumbing. In the summer term you will then specialise in carpentry & joinery and develop skills and knowledge which will enable you to progress in this specialist trade.

How will it be delivered?

Progress and achievement is recorded throughout the year via practical assessments.

Entry requirements

You will need:

  • 3 GCSEs at grade 2 (E) or higher

You will be invited to an interview to help us ensure the course is right for you.
