This course is designed as full-time 16-19 study programme for learners who want to start a career in business and prepare them for entering industry or progression onto a Level 3 course or apprenticeship.
This course is for existing CWA students only.
The course is a more practical option of study to help learners develop transferable workplace skills such as communication skills and the ability to work well within a team. Businesses need employees who are enterprising to help contribute to business growth and success.
You will study four units on this course:
- The business environment
- Researching a concept
- Promoting and financing
- Planning and pitching
This combination of units will give the foundation knowledge and understanding for developing enterprise and entrepreneurial skills.
Assessment is via completed assignments and successfully completing the work experience element of the course. Work experience is an integral part of this part of the qualification and needs to be completed in order to achieve the qualification. Students will be required to complete a minimum of 315 hours of work experience.
