What will you be working towards?
This qualification is for those who work in a health care support setting and will enable learners to develop their knowledge, skills and behaviours required for a rewarding carer as a Health and Social Care worker.
The qualification is formed of mandatory and optional units. The mandatory units cover core competencies whilst the optional units allow learners to choose from a variety of areas to tailor the qualification to their needs, interests and to reflect the context of their work.
It covers a wide range of areas including dementia awareness, mental health and well-being, supporting individuals with their physical and emotional care, daily living needs and health care procedures.

How will it be delivered?
We want you to achieve to the very best of your ability at CRC. To make this happen we offer both learning and personal support by specialist staff tailored to meet your specific needs.
All units within the Level 2 Diploma in Care will be assessed in the workplace using a variety of assessment methods by a qualified workplace assessor.
This qualification is assessed by end-point assessment which comprises of
• Situational Judgement Test made
• Professional Discussion
GCSE English 2 and Maths 2 or Functional Skills Level 1. Learners must be in a job role that supports the completion of the framework.
